Is it safe to mix baking soda and borax?
Note: Although baking soda, washing soda, and borax are different, be sure thatit is safe to combine them. In fact, I add all three to the recipe for my favorite homemade laundry detergent, along with Fels-Naptha laundry soap!

- 1/4 cup baking soda (if you only have baking soda, you can turn baking soda into baking soda by baking in a thin layer on a baking sheet in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes)

Can you use baking soda and borax for laundry detergent?
Add 2 cups of washing soda, 2 cups of baking soda, and 2 cups of borax to create a container of laundry detergent. If using essential oils, add 2-30 drops. Place the lid on the bowl and shake the ingredients to mix well.
To make an all-purpose spray, dissolve 2 teaspoons of borax in 4 cups of warm water and stir.1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and 4 tablespoons of vinegar. Use it to clean counters, appliances, windows and more.
